Marilyn Daisy Gladstein For her Bat Mitzvah project, my cousin Marilyn baked
cookies and sold them to family and friends. She raised
$1790 and donated 100% of the proceeds to us! Both her Nona and Great Grandma
Daisy fought breast cancer for many years and she
is inspired by their courage. I'm inspired by Marilyn's
dedication to family and her spunky spirit!
The YMCA John Rappaport, Jamie Farnam and the rest of the McBurney
YMCA in Manhattan, New York helped gave our sister
"P" a 6-month membership so she can fight
radiation-induced fatigue during and following treatment.
What a nice group of people!
Les Faires Verte This Seattle-area charity selected us
as the beneficiary of their February 21 ball. What
an amazing time we had! Check out the pictures!
Steve Smith Photography Thanks to our talented photographer of the 2009 Mardi
Gras event, we have lots of memories of that wonderful
night. If you're looking for a creative photographer
who is easy to work with in the Seattle-area, you
should get in touch with Steve.
Carolyn Lundy, Ontario, Canada What a friend! And a talented friend at that! Carolyn
volunteers her time to do a lot of our graphic art
work. She even designed our beautiful Pink Daisy logo!

My
extended family Which includes cousins, aunts and those wonderful
women I think of as aunts. I can't even begin to convey
how much love and support there is behid me. It would
blow your mind.
Sean, Tommy & Rachel Cantwell I do most of my work at home. My patient husband and
tolerant kids have allowed me to work (mostly) undisturbed.
They understand when I take time away from them to
help my sisters. My husband has been behind me since
day one. He knows how passionate I am about helping
my sisters and gives me the time I need to follow
my dreams.
Shelley & Steve Funk My parents were a huge help in getting our organization off the ground. They made the first
donation: the fee to file for non-profit status with
the IRS. They've been a big encouragement every step
of the way. Not only that, my mom is the best nurse!
She took care of me and did a ton of cooking and cleaning
while I recovered from surgery (both times!).
Seattle Seahawks We were invited to be a part of a wonderful event
sponsored by the Seattle Seahawks’ Women’s Association.
Big thanks to Shannon Mora for believing in us and
including us as a beneficiary, and to Sue Harris for
kicking things up a notch and donating a portion of the
proceeds from the sale of pink Seahawks gear to our
cause! Nicest women you’d ever want to meet.
